A tabloid reported this week that Lady Gaga's expecting a baby, but she doesn't know if the father is Bradley Cooper or her ex-fiancé, Christian Carino. Gaga took to Twitter to reveal that, yes, she is pregnant — but not with a baby.
"Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6," she tweeted, along with a faux ultrasound image of a Grammy award. It was Gaga's first acknowledgment that her sixth album — the follow-up to 2016's Joanne — may arrive sooner rather than later.
After fans caught their breath, they then began obsessing over another rumor: that the new album would feature a collaboration with Rihanna. They pointed to the fact that when it comes to social media, Gaga usually only follows the people with whom she works, and she's just followed Rihanna and Bloodpop, a producer who contributed to Joanne. There's no confirmation of that rumor, however.
Oscar-winner Gaga has actually been working on the new album for a while; back in October, another one of her collaborators, DJ White Shadow, told ABC Radio that the new music had the same "feeling" and "emotions" as Gaga's 2013 album, ARTPOP, though not the same sound.
"This next thing that we’re working on, I feel the same way that I felt when we were working on ARTPOP," Shadow explained.
