Titled bublé!, Michael's seventh music special on the network will feature performances of some of his newer tunes as well as some classics, backed by a 36-piece orchestra. It promises to be his “most personal” special to date, taking the audience on a "musical journey through his extraordinary career."
His set list will include six songs from his latest album Love, including “When You’re Smiling” and “Such a Night,” as well as some earlier favorites like “Haven’t Met You Yet” and “It’s a Beautiful Day."
As far as classics, Michael will perform “La Vie en Rose” with guest artist Cécile McLorin Salvant, a cover of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You,” Frank Sinatra's “Fly Me to the Moon,” and more.
The special airs Wednesday, March 20 at 10 p.m. ET.
Michael is currently on the first leg of his North American tour, which wraps April 12. He'll be back in July for more North American shows.
